Cross the finishing line to win!

PIECES: 3 printed discs and 2 wooden trees. INSTRUCTIONS: The game is played on the floor, taking turns. Each player can have five turns. Place the two trees on the floor, about 25 cm apart. The narrower the gap between the trees, the harder the game! Choose the starting point and pick the animal you want to send over the finishing line. Place the 3 discs in a triangle, with the animal you picked nearest to you (fig.1). On the first throw, slide the disc with the chosen animal across the floor, between the other two discs (fig.2).

On subsequent throws, you can use any disc, but it must always slide between the other two stationary discs. A throw only counts if: the centre of the thrown disc goes beyond

the imaginary line between the centre points of the other two discs (fig.3). The disc that is thrown doesn't turn upside down, or touch another disc or a tree while moving.

If you are unhappy with a valid throw, you can throw the same disc again only once more, but it obviously has to pass through the two stationary discs again. If your throw isn't valid, then it is the next person's turn. Each turn starts from the chosen starting point (fig.1). For each turn, you win your turn if your disc with the chosen animal passes the imaginary. finishing line created by the trees! (fig.4) You cannot try to cross the finishing line with your first throw. When every player has had five turns, the winner is the player who won the most turns!
